Jennie Sue Brown FAIA

Jennie Sue Brown FAIA studied architecture at Oklahoma State University.  In 1965 she worked in Tacoma, before joining The Bumgardner Architects in Seattle in 1970.  She became Managing Partner.
Projects include Seattle's Claremont Hotel (later known as Hotel Andra), Victoria Apartments, 1800 Eastlake, Fishermen's Center, Pike Market Congregate Care Residence, A Special Residence for AIDS Housing of Washington, The Rainier Club, golf clubhouses and private clubs.
Her colleagues elected her to serve as AIA Seattle's second woman President in 1986, and as AIA Washington Council President in 1991. 
She served on the AIA Risk Management Committee.
