Kate Diamond FAIA

Kate Diamond FAIA (BArch Israeli Institute of Technology, 1986) served as the first woman President of AIA Los Angeles in 1994.  She also served as President of the Association for Women in Architecture 1985-1987. 

Her 1996 elevation to the AIA College of Fellows recognized her design leadership.

Kate started out at her own firm, Siegel Diamond (later Siegel Sklarek Diamond), in the late 1980s in Los Angeles, and went on to work as a principal at RNL, at NBBJ in Seattle 2006-2010, and with HMC Architects.  She has served on the National Peer Review Council for the GSA Design Excellence Program and taught at the USC School of Architecture.
