George Loschky FAIA

George Loschky FAIA (BSArch University of Illinois, 1962), inducted into the AIA College of Fellows in 1993, at that time served as Design Partner, Loschky Marquardt & Nesholm (LMN).   Loschky's nomination cited his design leadership in creating an award-winning firm recognized internationally for the design of contextually inspired, functionally innovative convention centers that have become civic landmarks.

At the time of this recognition of its partner, the firm had projects completed or under way in 12 states as well as in Australia, Canada, and Japan.  The work has received design awards for projects of every type and scope throughout the US.

In 1989, the Japanese government invited George Loschky to conduct a symposium for Japanese architects and government officials in Osaka, as the most knowledgeable, influential American architect on future trends in convention center design.

Update:  In 2016, LMN received the AIA Architecture Firm Award.
