"Whereas my little mouse is the eight wonder of the world!  How beautifully he sings, and how well we communicate now - I teach, he learns, and so quickly, too." (p. 68)

On page 69, Mrs. Honeybee imagines a conversation with Wolf about what song to sing.  She settles on Oh! What a Beautiful Mornin'! from the musical Oklahoma!

This one-minute clip demonstrates what each of the vocal ranges sounds like when sung.

The Queen of the Night from Mozart's The Magic Flute Opera demonstrates what a coloratura soprano sounds like.

"Sometimes, as (the policeman) walked along the street, he had heard (Mrs. Honeybee) singing as she played.  But this was not her voice.  This was in a far higher register.  In fact, it was the voice of a coloratura soprano." (p. 74-75)
