He studied art at the RealvAcademia del Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid, Spain
Perhaps the best know Surrealist artist, who blended real and imagined images together
The eccentric artist died on January 23, 1989, at the age of 84 in Figueres, Spain

There are many museums dedicated to Dalí, including one in St. Petersburg, FL, one in Figueres, Spain, and Paris, France. He was often featured on talkshows, including the Dick Cavett Show in 1971.
