Jackson Pollock was famous for creating 'action' or drip paintings. Here is a video of him creating large drip paintings. Mural, 1943, was donated to the University of Iowa by Peggy Guggenheim. It was recently restored by the Getty Museum, and was documented in a video. Last year, the MFA hosted an exhibit on Mural, 1943, and the work is now on view at the Guggenheim Museum in NYC. You can visit his paintings at nearly every major art museum in the country, and visit the home and art studio of Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner at Stony Brook University in East Hampton, NY.
