You can learn more about Frida Kahlo by watching this BrainPop. Kahlo lived most of her life in her family home, Casa Azul, which is now a museum that you can visit in Mexico City, Mexico. This is where she lived with her husband, Diego Rivera, who we learned about last year. Kahlo was the first artist from Mexico to have a painting purchased by the Louvre in Paris (1939). This painting, The Frame, is now on view at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. In 2016, the Museum of Fine Arts purchased Dos Mujeres (Two Women), making it the first museum in New England to acquire a work by Kahlo. In 2019, the MFA hosted an exhibit with a number or her works, titled Frida Kahlo and Arte Popular. There are only thirteen Frida Kahlo paintings on view in public museums in America! Of course, Google Arts & Culture allows you to see her works on view at museums around the world.
