MAYA ANGELOU DIES

Maya Angelou won the Pulitzer Prize, three Grammy Awards, the National Medal of Arts, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom. She was also the Inaugural Poet for Bill Clinton's 1993 Presidential Inauguration, the first since Robert Frost at John F. Kennedy's 1961 Presidential Inauguration. Angelou read her poem On the Pulse of Morning, and it was a resounding success.
