Dear LCMS Panther Families,

We have officially entered state testing season. We will be testing almost every day for the rest of the school year. Please see the schedule above or visit the LCMS website for the weekly schedule. 

Shout out to all of the 8th graders going on Gradventure tonight. I know you will have an amazing time! When you see Mrs. McDonald, tell her thank you for coordinating a field trip of almost 400 student and adults. 

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Don't forget to reach out and tell your teachers Thank You for all they do.

We want to inform you that students/families will not be able to view their student's results in the Family Portal until Wednesday, May 8 because FDOE is completing calibration the first week of testing (May 1-7).  Attached are the directions for families to view/download their results in the Family Portal.   Please see the directions below describing how to access the Family Portal.

Dress Code Reminder

As the temperatures are rising - so are the hemlines, on shirts and shorts. Please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for school every day. Shorts must be long enough to completely cover their bottom.  Strapless and cropped shirts are not allowed - students' midriff must be covered at all times.  If you have any questions, please see the SCPS Dress Code policy found on our website as well as the graphic below:

Tdap Requirement for incoming 7th graders

If you are the parent of a current 6th grader, now is the time to make sure that we have the most up to date immunization record that includes the mandatory Tdap booster. Record of this immunization is REQUIRED before your child will be allowed to start 7th grade in the fall. If you have the record of the Tdap booster already, please feel free to drop it off in the front office or email it to Mrs. Moss at mosssl@scps.k12.fl.us . If your child has not yet had the Tdap booster, please make arrangements to do so ASAP.

Club Listing - UPDATED 2/8

We are still working out the logistics for some of our clubs. However, some are up and ready to get started. 

Step 1 - Click the link below to view the list of clubs.

Step 2 - Parents must click the link for the Permission Form and give permission for their student to attend. Take a note of the date and time.

Step 3 - Students then attend the club meetings and have fun! Any student who shows up for a meeting without the parent permission will not be allowed to stay.
