Dear LCMS Panther Families,

This will be the final Paw Prints Newsletter for this school year. We have so enjoyed celebrating our 8th graders over the past week. They are a wonderful group of students and I know they will go on to accomplish much in their high school careers. I wish them all the best of luck!

If your child received an invitation to Awards Night but was unable to attend, please have them report to the front office to pick up their award. 

Eighth grade parents - you will officially roll over to your respective high schools on July 15. You may occasionally receive an email from LCMS between now and then, but do not unsubscribe. Unsubscribing will unsubscribe you from all SCPS and you will miss important HS updates. 

Returning families, we are already planning for next year and look forward to having you all back in the fall.

P.E. locker room wrap up

All students need to have their lockers cleaned out by the end of the school day on May 21st.  Any items remaining in the lockers will be bagged and held in the locker rooms until May 24th   last day of student attendance.  All items at the end of the school day on May 24th will be donated.

Dismissal will be at 2:05 pm on the last 3 days of the school year. Backpacks will not be allowed.

Tdap Requirement for incoming 7th graders

If you are the parent of a current 6th grader, now is the time to make sure that we have the most up to date immunization record that includes the mandatory Tdap booster. Record of this immunization is REQUIRED before your child will be allowed to start 7th grade in the fall. If you have the record of the Tdap booster already, please feel free to drop it off in the front office or email it to Mrs. Moss at mosssl@scps.k12.fl.us . If your child has not yet had the Tdap booster, please make arrangements to do so ASAP. 

Club Listing - UPDATED 2/8

We are still working out the logistics for some of our clubs. However, some are up and ready to get started. 

Step 1 - Click the link below to view the list of clubs.

Step 2 - Parents must click the link for the Permission Form and give permission for their student to attend. Take a note of the date and time.

Step 3 - Students then attend the club meetings and have fun! Any student who shows up for a meeting without the parent permission will not be allowed to stay.
