Dear LCMS Panther Families,
This coming week starts our Basketball Season. Everyone is invited to come support our Panthers. Tickets will be sold electronically in advance and at the door.
Please note, that while we do encourage our students to support their friends at the games, we do ask that they behave appropriately in the stands and do not engage in horseplay either in the gym, in the gym hallway, or in the restrooms.
Tip off is generally at 4:45 pm for JV. Varsity games will begin right after the JV games end. Click the appropriate link below to purchase tickets.

Mandatory Parent Meeting - May 16 @ 6 pm in the auditorium
Tryout out schedule coming soon!
Monday in all classes, teachers will be reviewing student expectations much like we do at the beginning of the school year. Topics will include:
Expectations in the Courtyard before school
Expectations in the Hallways and during transitions
Expectations in the Growl Grill - and walking to and from
Warnings about vaping - its dangers and consequences
Bullying and harrassment
PBIS - campus-wide expectations, Paws Bucks and the PBIS Store
Expectations at Dismissal, on the bus and on the car ramp
Please ask your child about these and reinforce appropriate behavior. This is especially important to our 8th graders as we get closer to Gradventure and the 8th grade Dance.
One of the main issues we have had on campus is what we call "Horseplay Gone Wrong". PTSA and SAC have asked that I bring this to your attention. For example:
We had a situation where one student took another student's Croc (one of his good friends, just joking around) and then went to flush it down the toliet. The other student chased after it and they ended up wrestling over the shoe in the bathroom. Three other students came running out of the bathroom saying "There's a fight in the bathroom!" The AP now has to get statements from all 5 students, issue consequences to the 2 involved in the horseplay, and call all of the parents involved, making sure that the 3 witnesses and their parents understand that there was not actually a fight. A ridiculous amount of time ends up spent because someone thought it would be funny to steal their friend's shoe.
Please talk with your child about not engaging in unnecessary horseplay.
If your child is interested in being on one of our 2 RoboPanthers Robotics teams next year, please complete this application: RoboPanthers Application
Applications must be received by the end of the day April 12. They need to be emailed to Ms. G-L @ gonzalnz3@scps.k12.fl.us
***Please note - teams are limimted to 10 members each. Only 20 applicants will be accepted.
Our free, online Tutoring through FEV Tutors is available once again. See the flyer below or look for FEV Tutor in Clever under "Class Tools".
Our PBIS slogan is PawsUp!
Please help us to remind our students to exhibit these behaviors campus-wide.
