The PBIS "Pawsitive Store" is looking for donations! At the Pawsitive Store, students can spend their hard earned "paws bucks" that they received from teachers and staff for meeting behavior expectations. We are looking for donations of stocking stuffer type toys/objects, big ticket items such as gadgets you may be looking to get rid of (rubiks cubes, speakers, mini drones, etc), or candy/chips. Monetary donations are always accepted!
The Central Florida Math Circle is an effort of the Department of Mathematics at the University of Central Florida to offer the middle school students of the Central Florida region an opportunity to have fun with mathematics.
The Math Circle is not directed towards a particular curriculum; it is not a class, a lecture or a tutorial. It is a directed experience in the encouragement of student discovery of mathematics. We are happy to be part of a national effort “The National Association of Math Circles” to encourage and develop mathematical insight in students.
We will bring regional middle school math enthusiasts to our campus again from January 28 to March 4(every Saturday from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm). Students will attend the talks and activities led by math faculty members (2:00 pm – 3:30 pm). And then, students will meet with other middle school students in the same level (Grade 6, Grade 7&8, or Advanced Group), with whom they will discuss mathematical reasoning and the points of view that lead to problem-solving (3:30 pm – 4:30 pm). The problem-solving and discussion activities will be led by graduate students and a postdoctoral scholar Dr. Jeffrey Oregero. Our undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty members at the University of Central Florida are waiting for you to spread joy in mathematics and mathematical thinking.

If your student would like to change an elective course for the Spring semester, please complete this form.
Please note: All students are required to take 1 semester of PE each year. All students must take iJourney and at least 1 other iSeries course before leaving middle school.
Deadline to submit: Wednesday, January 4th. Schedule changes will not be made after January 6th.
Please be aware that not every class is available every period. Many classes are already full and do not have room for additional students to be added. As a result, not all requests will be able to be honored.
Teacher preference is NOT an option. And please only submit one request form per student.
As you start cleaning out your closets to get ready for the holidays, please consider us for donations of white Christmas lights for our Spring Showcase. Donations can be dropped off in the Front Office to Dr. Taylor's attention.
