Dear LCMS Panther Families,
Our Panthers have been busy! This week we welcomed our incoming 6th graders on campus for a field trip on Tuesday and our Spring Showcase last night.
Last weekend our Junior Thespians competed at the Florida Jr. Thespian State Festival! We walked away with 3 Superiors and 3 Excellents for our 6 competing students!
Rain- Superior in Scene Design
Nyssa- Excellent in Solo Acting
Gavin- Excellent in Solo Acting
Alex- Excellent in Solo Musical
Emma Lee- Superior in Theater Marketing
Janna- Superior in Theater Marketing
Also, our SECME team completed over the weekend. We had 14 students that competed in 6 competitions (there were over 400 students) and the teams below took 2nd Place in 3 competitions!
Math Competition - 2nd Place winners were Theodore Bacon & Khang Tran (Team name: The Vietnamese Boys)
Bridge Competition - 2nd Place winners were Theodore Bacon, Khang Tran, Zoe Van Galder (Team name: Cat-astrophic Bridge Builders)
Mousetrap Car Competition - 2nd Place winners were Allison Peets, Kendall Truong, Zoe Van Galder (Team name: The Rats)
Recently, the City of Oviedo Police Department selected our SRO Officer Ashley Pierce as the Officer of the Year for their Department. We are fortunate to have her here on our campus.

All students are to have their ID cards on them at all times. Starting Tuesday, February 18, we will be treating ID cards as part of dress code. Students who repeatedly do not have their card will be given consequences.

Do not turn left out of the parking lot. There is a right turn only sign posted. You can receive a ticket for turning left.
No Trespassing - Our campus is off limits after school hours unless you or your child are here for a specific event. Please refrain from using our campus to walk your dog, walk, run, ride bikes after school hours and on the weekends. No Trespassing signs have been posted.
All students are to have their ID cards on them at all times. We will start checking and students who do not have theirs will be added to the list for a replacement. Upon the second (or more) replacement ID, parents will receive a bill for $2.00 every time a new ID card is issued. Please stress to your students the importance of carrying their ID with them at all times. They need it to get on and off the bus, get into buildings during class change and pay for their lunch in the Growl Grill. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
