Lesson 22 - Poster Final Project
Today, you will start to create your final project.
POSTER
Return to your slides.
Select four topics that you would like to include.
Print out those four topics. (Keep in mind - the size of your poster.)
Cut them out.
Print out the pictures and captions that go with those topics. (Keep in mind - the size of your poster.)
Cut them out.
Print out your fun facts. (Keep in mind - the size of your poster.)
Cut them out.
Print out your bibliography.
Cut it out.
Create a hand drawn map that has something to do with one of your four topics. (Keep in mind - the size of your poster.)
Lay everything out on your poster paper (except the bibliography - this will go on the back). Make sure to leave room for a border and title.
Decide on the layout you like the best. (You can be creative - for example, you can cut out each fun fact and place them all around you poster. They do not need to be all together on one page.) Do NOT glue anything yet.
Create your border. It must be related to your topic.
Create your title.
Glue all your other components onto your poster like you decided from your layout.
Put your name on the poster.
Add color and other design elements to make it stand out.
You will have 5 days to complete your poster.
