CO-CURRICULAR ELIGIBILITY 

To participate in any activity beyond the regular academic day, a student must maintain a 2.8 average for all the Habits of Work (HOW) standards across all classes and may not have a HOW score of 1 in more than one class. Eligibility checks will happen the day after Habits of Work scores are updated.

Students identified as not meeting the criteria will be placed on probation until the next update of HOW scores. During this probation period, students participating in after-school sports/clubs will still be allowed to participate but must work to improve identified behavior and show evidence of being an engaged learner. If the Habits of Work criteria are met during this probationary period the student is no longer considered on probationary status. If the Habits of Work criteria are not improved and/or met after the probationary period, the student is no longer eligible to participate for that athletic season and/or for activities that fall within that eligibility time frame.
