Parents shall be advised that this program is available and eligibility criteria shall be made public.

In accordance with the guidelines for participation in these programs, and in accordance with the wishes of the School Committee, no enrolled student who is believed to be improperly nourished shall be denied lunch, breakfast, or other food, simply because the proper application has not been received from their parents or guardian. No student is to be denied food as a disciplinary measure.

The School Nutrition Program Director shall be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the nutrition program under the supervision of the Superintendent.
