WV Bear Room signs

For my next project, I am creating room signs for a house in West Virginia.  They are going to be 3" by 7" signs.  Their names are based off of bears.  Bears always remind my family of West Virginia.  Then the last one is Moose related for the master bedroom.

First I drew out how I wanted them to look.  A small detail I liked was the rounded edges instead of straight.  

Then, I transferred what I wanted them to look like onto Inkscape.  I tried out different fonts and finally decided on the darker and bolder font.  I also liked the look of the bear prints under the words.  To get the bear prints on the signs, I traced them with bitmap.

Now I am ready to lazer cut.  The wording and the images are going to be etched.  The nail hole and the outer lines are going to be lazer cut.
