Laser Cut Line Art

This project was used to create webs for the 4th graders reading Charlotte's Web. The process was derived from a State Highways cutout completed during a summer camp at Hawken. 

1. Using a thick marker draw thick lines that are dark and heavy. 

2. Scan the image. (iphone,tablet, scanner). 

Tip: The best thing to use is a device that saves directly to a folder on a cloud. You can then access that folder directly from your computers. (Google Drive) 

3. Open the bitmap file in your design software (Corel Draw) and generate a "Black and White" bitmap trace.
