this is my first laser cut logo. I used the design above to create this. For my first laser cut logo, I would say this is pretty good. I feel like I should have done something with the J and the E.

this cardstock board with different designs on it was highly difficult. me and my partner, Dana, started our first one off really badly so we decided to restart and it ended up a lot better. I learned how flexible and not flexible cardstock is and all the different things that you can make with cardstock.

this was our first ever project in the classroom and it didn't go too well. I rushed it and my boxes didn't fit any of the criteria. Glue was showing from everywhere and they were too big. I learned not to rush and to take my time so it turns out a lot better.

This was the first 3D website we used and this beginner projects helped me make my actual logo. These exercises helped me learn how to use the shapes and learn how to use the dimensions.

this is my 3d design of the logo I made. I think it looks better in the 2d form but this is still pretty good. This took a while to make because there are small details and I am new to this. I can't wait to see what this will look like when it is 3d printed.

This was my first time using the vinyl cutter and I would say it turned out well but there were some mistakes along the way. First off the machine didn't cut all the way through the first time I tried to make a sticker. I also wasted a lot of vinyl because I used a big sheet of paper for a small logo. Also, I sort of rushed it and messed it up but luckily I was able to fix it. Next time I will listen to the directions better so my design will be better next time.

This is my design for my logo that will stand up. You can't see it in the picture but there is a stand under the image. I am going to use the laser cutter and some wood to cut this design out.

This is the laser cut version of the design below. I think it turned out great but I had to change the design a little so it would turn out better. I had to make the outside all 0.001 so it would get cut out. but besides for that everything else turned out great.

this is my first ever 3D printed logo and it turned out pretty well. besides for there not being a backdrop and me having to glue the letters together it turned out well. Next time I will make sure that it is all connected so I don't have to glue them together.

this is my design for the glasses I made. I got this idea from a picture online and I thought it was a silly but a cool design to make. when I made the cardboard one I realized that the nose hurt a little so I moved the nose out a little bit so it wouldn't hurt my nose. I had to modify the design a couple of times but in the end, it turned out pretty well.

these are three of my designs of the glasses I created. On the left is my cardstock, handmade, design which wasn't too good but it was just the first out of three designs. in the middle is my cardboard laser cut design which was definitely an improvement but not just right. the laser cut one on the right is the final one which turned out great. I had to change the nose whole which you can see in this picture. look at the cardboard one vs the wood one. this project turned out very well.

This is my 3D design for my glow circuit. It is a chest from the video game Fortnite. I had some trouble making sure the wholes were grouped together correctly but besides for that I didn't have much trouble. I think that this will turn out to be really cool.

this is the 3-D printed version of the design above. This turned out well but not as well as I thought it would. Firstly, I thought it would be a little brighter. Secondly, I had to change the amount of filament the machine uses so it wouldn't take long to print, so that made it thinner and had a lot of the strings. besides for those two things it turned out well. now I know if I make another glow circuit to give it more holes so the light shines through it.

this is the cardboard laser cut version of my lantern. this is just a rough draft so it doesn't connect together because it is cardboard. and in the final, the stars and moons will all be holes. this turned out well but the final wood one will be even better.

this is the handmade version of my lantern. the graph boxes are every box is a half inch. there will be more stars and moons on the laser cut versions but it is really hard to cut a lot of stars out so I only put a couple on this one. I'm excited to see how the next ones turn out.

This is my final lantern. It's hard to see the light inside of the lamp but it is there and it was hard to make that light together. I had to put two led lights on the bottom and connect them with a wire and sautering. Making it light up was really hard because I had to saughter it. The battery is in the middle of the two LED lights.this project took a while but I really learned a lot from this experience.

I Learned so much in this class if I listed everything it would be a 2-page list. When I first came into this room I thought how am I going to learn and remember how to use all of these machines. Now at the end of the year, I know how to use most of the machines in this room with ease. I used to think that using these machines were so hard but now I think it is actually pretty easy to use the machines. I got really good at using the laser cutter. I always found it a challenge to set up the 3D printer.
