Sean Ross Final Project

i have decided to make a speaker box. i was having trouble coming up with an idea so i was thinking of things i like. this lead me to music and i got the idea of making a speaker box with 4 bluetooth speakers that will connect to my phone. i will make the box out of acrylic and i will put LED lights throughout the box. above i have provided front, back and side view of the speaker.

my goal for next class is to bring in the speakers and complete measurements.

today i decided to build a bluetooth speaker rather than use one that has already built.

here are some written designs and a paper prototype. i have completed building my bluetooth device and have connected it to my phone and tested the buttons. everything worked perfectly.

here is a inkscape clip. i have decided to use acrylic to be able see the guts of the speakers. i have also decided to make it more squarish. i am currently trying to come up with a better idea. i am not satisfied with my current designs and want to make things alot better.

today i will continue to design my box. i am trying incorporate the speakers into nature like this. i want to make more than just a speaker. i am trying to come up with a cool design or something that i can incorporate the speakers into everyday things. i am still trying to create the best project i can but i am having trouble with it.

i have decided to put the speaker into an animal head (obviously not a real one). i will be putting it into a bear head. bears are one of my favorite animals and i feel this will turn out very well. i will engrave the face out of wood and cut the wood out into the shape of a head. next class i will work on a file to get into inkskape.
