This was a small project in which I learned how to properly prototype using cardboard. I learned how to make tabs, slots, flange ect. I completed this project with Mairin, and it turned out pretty well.
Hello, my name is Jori Greene. Attached is my logo which has my name above the head of a stick figure. I chose to do a stick figure as my logo because it is a nickname that I have had for a long time, so it represents me.
This is my cardboard box. I cut the slits in the box, and proceeded to fold it afterwards. This project taught me how to prototype and fold cardboard. The box turned out pretty well, and if I were to do this again, I wouldn't change my process at all.
The box pictured is card stock. I made the mistake of individually cutting out the squares, and then trying to glue them together. I learned how to make a 2x2 box using card stock. For next time, I won't individually cut the squares out.
This is my logo after being laser cut. This was my first time using the laser cutter, and it went pretty well. For next time, I will make the box around bigger so that it doesn't cut my name off. The laser cutter also burned one of my legs, so I will try to avoid that in the future.
This is my logo after being 3D printed. The logo actually turned out pretty well. I learned how to use the 3D printer properly, and created a logo.
