Dialogue between teachers and students is an integral part of learning. As this conversation makes such a large part of our day, we have provided a number of high impact questions and sentence starters for you to use to continue this dialogue.
Research has shown that negative comments are three time more impactful when compared with positive comments. A strategy we use to address is this is the 3:1 ratio. Try to provide three positive comments for each point of constructive criticism.
Note: It is often far more effective to find one thing to work on, rather than try to fix all errors in learning.
