Part4 -- Chinese Tranditional Story

This is an English cartoon version of Journey to the West -.- 《西游记》 Xī Yóu Jì.

I hope you enjoy this Chinese traditional famous story.

Journey to the West (Chinese: 西遊記; pinyin: Xī Yóu Jì) is a Chinese novel published in the 16th century during the Ming dynasty and attributed to Wu Cheng'en. It is one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. It has been described as arguably the most popular literary work in East Asia.

The novel is an extended account of the legendary pilgrimage of the Tang dynasty Buddhist monk Xuanzang who travelled to the "Western Regions", that is, Central Asia and India, to obtain Buddhist sacred texts (sūtras) and returned after many trials and much suffering.

Part 5 -- Learning tasks

Keep making your Mandarin booklet -- Hobbies/ Everyday language

Several suggestions for you when you make your booklet --

Option 1: you can create a hobbies booklet to record everyone in your family plus your best friends’ hobbies with new words and sentences.

Option 2: you can create a booklet for the everyday language and conversation that we learnt/are learning.

Option 3: You can create a booklet for your LOTE learning journey for remote learning 2.0, that means you can include anything about LOTE learning into your booklet. Apart from recording the new things you learn; you may also use any words or sentences in Chinese that you learnt in the past to make your booklet look wonderful. Be Creative!

Option 4: For students who have a Chinese background. Please make a booklet in Chinese, write a dairy with 2-3 paragraphs to express your hobbies, feelings, talk about something special that happened during the week, or anything you would like to talk about. Make sure you include the date, the weather and your feelings in each piece of writing.

An example for your weekly learning task.
