Year 3 Performing Arts
Term 4, Week 1
Welcome back everyone!
I hope you have had a fabulous holiday. I am so excited to see you all back at school next week!
I had some wonderful feedback at the end of last Term to say that many learners wanted to try a second option from the list of tasks - so this week, choose at least 1 new learning task that interests you! Of course if you would like to do more, you may!
OPTION 1: Acting / Imaginative play
A trip to the beach - at home!
It's time to go on a trip to the beach!
What are you going to wear? Put it on!
What will you need to bring? Pop it all into a bag!
Where is the beach going to be?
Can you create some pretend water? Sand? Or are you just going to imagine?
Are you going to bring snacks?
Now, play! Are you going to build a sandcastle? Go for a swim? Read a book? Have a picnic?
**Don't forget to pack it all up when you've finished!
OR
A tea party for all your toys!
All your toys are coming over for afternoon tea!
What are you going to wear? Put it on!
Are your teddies or toys getting dressed up too?
What food are you going to cook? Maybe you could make it using playdough? Or cut it out of paper? Do you have pretend food you could use?
Time to decorate! What can you do to make your tea party look lovely?
Do you have some music to play?
Now, play! Are you going to feed all your toys? Have a dance? Talk about your day?
**Don't forget to pack it all up when you've finished!
