Developing your ball skils and footwork for Tennis!
Watch the video of Mrs Hardy and practice all the different skills we have covered over the past few week.
These skills include:
forehand/backhand striking
throw/catch
bounce/catch
Learning Task: Striking
Purpose: To develop your ability to bounce and strike.
Aim: To aim at a target and develop your hand eye coordination to strike a moving ball.
Things to focus on:
Standing side on.
Look at the ball.
Swing towards your target.
Extension Learning Task: Striking
Purpose: To develop your ability to strike a bouncing ball as it rebounds and to keep the rally going.
Aim: To aim at a target and develop your hand eye coordination to strike a moving ball.
Things to focus on:
Standing side on, front hip towards the target.
Always keeping an eye on the ball.
Swing towards your target.

Adjust to hit the rebound off of the wall.
