Welcome to Week 6 Daily Activities. We have added lots of new ideas to stay active. You can always go back to previous weeks if you have a favourite activity to do though!

FAMILY CHALLENGES!

Family Movement Scavenger Hunt

  • Create a list of actions/movements for your whole family to do.

  • For example it might be go to the kitchen and complete 5 squat jumps, then duck walk down the hallway and so on.

  • Each family member could create a different scavenger hunt with a special surprise at the end!!

Classic Catches!

· Find a ball to use and stand in the middle of an open space.

· Practice some of these classic catches challenges!

o Throw the ball up and then perform one of these tricks before you catch - touch your knees or toes, clap, do a star jump (or 5!), squat, jump and turn

o Underarm throw a ball at a wall and catch it off the bounce – throw harder and on angles to make the catches more difficult!

o Do you have a family member who can underarm throw the ball to you to the side, up high or down low?
