What is National Simultaneous Storytime?

NSS is an important annual campaign that aims to encourage young children to read and enjoy books as well as teach them the value of literacy. Now celebrating its 21st successful year and coming off the back of our largest year yet, we have no doubt that the reading of Philip Bunting's Give Me Some Space, from space will continue to build this wonderful campaign.

National Simultaneous Storytime will be held at 11am on Wednesday the 19 May 2021 and this year we are excited to be working with the Australian Space Agency and the Office of the Chief Scientist to bring you NSS2021.

What do you all do for NSS?

This year our Year 6s will lead a group of students for the read and a craft activity. I also have a competition to give away some books. We have Book Fair next week too which will be exciting. Love to hear what everyone else does!
