Cassy is an Literacy Ambassador/Writer in Residence with Ardoch, which means a few times a year she gets to visit schools in disadvantaged communities who need a bit of help and may not get many author visits. She runs workshops to help the students write their own stories which we then turn into a book. They even have a launch party to celebrate (because making a book deserves a clebration!).

Cassy also supports the Indigenous Literacy Foundation and the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.
