My kids at school are excited about the blind date books. This year to cut my workload, I had the children in Years 3-6 Choose a book and pop it in a bag. Then they wrote what grade/s it would be suitable for.

They were keen to borrow them straight away, but I said they could borrow one next week.

Eden PS

Jennie Cocks: I used wrapping paper as the background, googled the bookmarks, signs and emojis, then collected a few books for the display. I also made mini stationery for the children to write "love letters".

Glenfield PS

Gina Krohn: books are wrapped in plain paper bags with the barcode written on the back. The hearts have a snappy blurb to entice selection. Note to self: save blurbs next time!
