Backpack Project!
The PLCC Backpack Project was inspired by the CBCA’s Travelling Suitcases.
What's in our backpacks?
PLCC Backpacks are filled with books, engagement & promotional materials, information about the author or illustrator and a unique author or illustrator challenge for your students!
Backpacks can travel to any school, anywhere in Australia! They are FREE to book; you pay the cost of forwarding your backpack to the next school.

The purpose of the Backpack Project is to engage students in reading for pleasure and encourage exploration of wonderful books in a multiple ways - through reading the books, author/illustrator challenges, puzzles, games, dress up, imaginative play or an exciting author/illustrator challenge!
Bookings are time-stamped and backpacks will be allocated as a booking is received.
Please submit one form for each backpack. You will be contacted if your backpack is unavailable for period you require.
* There is no guarantee that the backpack you book will be available for the time you request.

If you are the first TL to borrow a backpack, it will not have as many resources as you may expect.
This is an unfunded project, so there may not be engagement materials available. Feel free to add something!
These resources will build over time as TLs add their lesson plans, ideas, student work samples and feedback. If you're a stellar lesson planner or love thinking outside the box, being the first borrower may be just the thing for you!
