dominant color - The color a viewer sees most in an artwork.
expression - A look on a person's face that tells the viewer what the person is feeling.
facial features - Parts of the face, such as eyes, nose, mouth, and ears.
mood - The way an artwork makes you feel or emotion the artist is trying to make you feel.
portrait - An artwork that shows a person, a group of people, or an animal as the main subject matter.
How does each painting make you feel? Colors can make us feel certain ways. Red, orange, and yellow are warm colors. Blue, green, and violet are cool colors.
Cool colors can help make pictures feel cool and calm. Warm colors give art more energy and can make pictures seem hot.

Include why or what is making the person fell this way.
Show a setting (a place) where this is happening.
Choose a dominant color to show the mood of that feeling.
Day 3
Color with watercolor pencils.
Use water wash to blend.
Create a sand painting with colored sand and a clear vessel (baby food jar) using a pencil to poke the sand to make various types of lines.
