pattern - A design made up of repeated lines, shapes, colors, or forms.
three-dimensional (3D) - Having length, width, and depth, such as a form.
visual (implied) texture - The way a flat picture or artwork looks, as if you could feel it.
What do the artworks show? Point to and say the colors that make up each pattern.
Each fish in Fish Print by Heather looks the same. Each fish is a print, or a copy of an artwork. One way to make a print is to cut out a shape. Press the shape into paint and then onto paper over and over.

- Fold a paper.
- Draw and cut out an animal shape.
- Print a color pattern on to the stand-up animal.
Fold a large sheet of paper in half. Draw and cut out an animal.
* Do no cut along the fold, so the animal can stand.
