Vocabulary
art - Things that are made to be looked at or experienced, such as drawings, paintings, printing, and sculptures.
coloring - the process or skill of applying a substance to something to change its original color.
geometric shape - Shapes used in math that have straight lines with angled corners or circular shapes with regular curves. There are two categories of geometric shapes: ovoid and polygon.
Ovoid Shapes: circle, semi-circle, sector, oval and egg.
Polygon Shapes: triangle, square, rectangle, kite (diamond), rhombus, trapezoid, pentagon, hexagon, heptagon, octagon, nonagon, decagon, etc...

- One Circle, two rectangles, one triangle, one square, two ovals.

-Choose a one crayon and color in the two rectangles completely the same color.
-Choose two or three crayons and color the two ovals with stripes. Stripes are lines that are next to one another going in the same direction.
-Use any colors you need and decorate the square to look like a shirt you would like to wear.
-Draw a face (eyes, nose, and mouth) on the circle. You may want also add ears and hair then finish coloring.
-Use any colors you need and decorate the triangle to look like a hat you would wear at a birthday party.Cut
- Carefully cut out the shapes and set them to the side.Assemble
-Glue the square shirt to the center of the construction paper.
-Glue the oval arms and rectangle legs to the corners of the square.
-Glue the circle head to the edge of the square between the striped oval arms.
-Glue the triangle party hat to the top of the circle head.
