balance - The way parts of an artwork work together so that the parts seem equal.
luminism - An art form in which light is the medium.
medium or media - the different consumable materials or supplies that an artist uses to create an artwork.
print - An artwork made by pressing an object covered with wet color against a flat surface.
radial symmetry - A type of symmetry in which a pattern extends from the center of an artwork, like spokes of a wheel.
symmetry or linear symmetry - The kind of balance created when both sides of something are similar or the same.
What do these artworks show? The artists put the same shapes on both sides. These artworks have balance.
Lay a pencil on each artwork and divide it in half. Each artwork has symmetry since both sides are the same. How is the symmetry in these artworks different?

Check list:
- Create a collage using found objects.
- Use emphasis to make something stand out.
- Create a background and attach your found object collage.
Fold paper. Cut out a shape. Lay it on dark paper. Put it in the sun.
