Look at Les Tuileries by Pablo Picasso. Do you think the people in the painting knew they were going to the park? Tell why? Why do you think the artist used light colors in the painting?

Think about when you have seen light colors in places. What candies are tinted or have light packaging?
Check list:
- Mix white with colors to create tinted colors.
- Mix the secondary colors you made with white to create tints.
- Drip paint onto the paper with a paint brush.
- Use straw to blow the paint in different directions.
Draw the outline of your favorite candy. Imagine what it would look like with only tinted colors (light colors). Draw big so your candy fills the paper.
Mix white with your colors to create tinted (lighter) colors.
