How I do it

• • I break the topic down into small objectives. (Shorter is better)

  • I make general explanatory videos (like why the formula is the way it is)

  • I make a bunch of examples

  • I code the topics, so I can find them on my YouTube Channel (I have lots)

Technology

• • I use iShowU HD (around $30) - It's fast and not fancy. I don't tend to edit and add fancy stuff.

  • I also have Camtasia Studio and the regrettably named Snagit for the PC - it is expensive and complicated, but it makes great videos

  • I have two Bamboo drawing pads:

    • CTL-470 - uses a cable

    • CTH-470 - wireless - I use it to write on the screen during class

      • Both of these have been replaced with the CTL490DW that is $79.95 on Amazon, and to which you can add a wireless link for $37.59
