Murray Conservation of Angular Momentum

I used a 100 gram mass mounted on a Styrofoam poster board base.. Its initial radius in all these videos was 20.0 cm, and it is pulled in to a succession of different radii.

In the video 20-18.AVI, it is pulled in to 18.0 cm, in the video 20-12.AVI it is pulled in to 12.0 cm. The radii have an uncertainty of 0.2 cm to be safe. In all the movies, the puck goes around once at a radius of 20 cm, and then in the next half revolution it is pulled in to the new radius, and then it goes around another time. The control video, the puck is not pulled in at all. This is to test the loss of velocity due to friction.

These videos can be downloaded and inserted into a LoggerPro file for video analysis.(Insert>Movie...)
