Motion Videos

Motion Videos and Graphs

Here are some motion videos (In the "0-Motion Videos" folder) I made with Interactive Physics.  Most of them have tracking turned on.  The naming convention is this:

so the video "uzap" is one where the initial velocity is zero, and the acceleration is positive.  (positive is to the right)  The letter "l" at the end means "long" - those are the ones where the object is moving to the right, slows to a stop and goes all the way back to the left.  (or the opposite)  Those have no tracking because it would be confusing.

The Graphs folders have the correspondingly titled graphs to go with the videos.

Canvas Graphs of Motion Quizzes

I put these together as my Graphs of motion "Labs" on Canvas.  These are pretty cool, they are quizzes where they watch a video of motion on YouTube with tracking and then they choose the graph of motion that matches the video.  I have one for displacement, velocity, and acceleration.

They are in my Canvas Courses, also the regular Canvas Quizzes version is on the commons

The ".zip" files are Canvas QTI exports of the quizzes I made with these, also, they are shared as “Motion Graphs Quizzes - Murray” on Canvas Commons.

Here are the videos on my YouTube Channel if you want to use those - named after my cousins:
