At the Grotto

I was able to videotape most of the Mass below although there was some shakiness here and there, A tripod would have worked better but I used a unipod because I wasn't sure if there would be room for the other. As well, I stopped recording during Holy Communion 

Procession to the Grotto

I videotaped the Procession to the Grotto 

" t was a bit tricky as I was behind the pilgrims when I left the church so I ran through the parking lot to meet up with them coming down Church Street. Luckily I didn't have to jump the fence ( like they do in the movies haha )  There was an opening onto Montfort Street from the parking lot  Praise Jesus!

I really love processions like this. They are beautiful opportunities to evangelize.. Anybody can do it too. It's not hard. I would like to see more of these visible expressions of our Faith.  Eucharistic Processions on the Feast of Corpus are really powerful as well as the Way of the Cross Processions on Good Friday.  Paul Lauzon has videotaped many of the Way of the Cross Processions in Ottawa over the years. The National March for Life is amazing..  Rosary Processions around or near Parliament Hill as well. John Pacheco organized several of these Rosary walks over the past year, There are really many opportunities to evangelize in this way

 I think that we have to up our game in witnessing our Catholic Faith.  It is a beautiful treasure that we cannot keep to ourselves. It is a human desire to seek happiness and so many souls have no idea what happiness is.  I know some people show anger when we express our beliefs but that should NOT deter us from doing so.

 Lord Let us keep our eyes focused on you.  Let Your light shine upon us and through us to Your children who do not yet know You"
