Message from Wanda Hartlin
Thank you to Campaign Life Coalition for their support of the 40 Days for Life campaign. During the mid-point rally, Paul came and took photos and videos. Maureen, one of our volunteers, also took photos and videos.
Last Sunday, it rained most of the day but stopped just before 7 pm. The mid-point rally went ahead as planned. We were blessed to have some beautiful hymns sung by Victoria and Olivia Bredfeldt; Marg Mountain spoke about the history of the pro-life movement from the early seventies until today and told us some ways that we can make a difference. Christina Alaimo, on maternity leave from Campaign Life as the youth co-ordinator, spoke of her past pro-life experiences and how her perspective changed when she became a mom. Francis Barrett spoke about his personal experiences at the vigil site. Deacon Chuck Fink graced us with the opening prayer and closing blessing.

Now that we have passed the half way mark, please don't let your participation wane. We still need to have people covering the hours at the vigil site. Mondays seem to be a day when we need extra help and this week we also need people to come and pray at the site on Friday.
