Resolve the HP 5200 Printer

The last thing a user ever wants is the printer refusing to print in the middle of an important task. That could happen with any printer model, including the HP LaserJet 5200 printer. The reasons behind a printer failing to operate can be loose cable connections, paper jams, or outdated drivers. 

Keeping the printer idle, thinking that the issue will resolve on its own, is not a solution. To do that, go to your computer, click the hidden icons arrow in the notification area of the taskbar. Double-click on the printer icon and you’ll see a pop-up window. Click on the “Printer” tab and move ahead. Next, click on “Cancel All Documents,” and then click on Yes to confirm. 

Set your printer as the default device. First, press the Windows button on your computer, and in the search bar, type “Printers & scanners.” Click on Open on the right. Uncheck the box next to Let Windows manage my default printer. Select your printer from the menu and click on the “Manage” option. Once you’re done with that, click on “Set as Default.”
