Here is the complete step-by-step guide to properly connect your Canon printer to a Wi-Fi router without facing any problems.
. Before moving with the process, make sure that your wireless router has the WPS button.
. To set up a printer on a new Wi-Fi network due to a router or network connection change, reset your printer's network settings to factory default. (Note: For the first Wi-Fi setup, move to step 7.)
. Choose the OK button on the Settings icon, then again open settings.
. Next, go to the Device Settings, scroll down, and open Reset Settings.
. Choose the LAN Settings Only option and press Yes to reset network settings to factory default.
