Method 1: Cleaning Nozzle

• First, ensure that the ink tank level is above 30 percent.

• Move to the operation panel, scroll right, and open settings.

• Choose Maintenance, go to Power Cleaning, and click on OK.

• Take a look at the information, then press OK to proceed.

• Select OK again to check the description.

• Next, you should read the description and then press OK.

• If you see any prompt, then press the start button for 5 seconds.

• After power cleaning, click on OK.

Method 2: Clean the Printhead Manually

• Begin by turning on your Epson printer.

• Then open the control panel lid, and then open the inner cover.

• Press the copy button and unplug the power cable when the print head moves to the left.

• Then open your scanner unit.

• Next, take out the screws to lift the scanner unit.

• Slide the printhead to the middle and remove the top cover.

• After that, you should press the tab inward and remove the ink cartridge.

• In addition, press the tab of the plate from the left and right and remove it.

• Then, open the three screws.

• Next, take out the print head.

• Also, take out the chip from the print head.

• With the help of wet tissue paper, clear the print head.

• Once the cleaning is complete, assemble all the parts of the printer.

• Then, you should plug the power cable back in and turn on the printer.

• When the printer power is on, go to the operation panel, scroll right, and open Maintenance.

• Next, you need to scroll down and select the Head cleaning process.

• To clean the print head, press OK.

• Insert the A4 side paper into the document feeder and then choose Confirm and OK.

• After printing, review the printed lines.
