Epson printer suddenly stopped connecting to WiFi? It may have happened due to incorrect network settings, a router incompatibility, or the printer's WiFi being disabled.
When your Epson printer is refusing to connect to your WiFi, you can try restarting your printer and router, checking the WiFi network and password, or connecting the printer to WiFi properly. Here’s the right way to do it:
Restart the Printer and Router
Press the power button on your printer to turn it off.
Unplug it from the wall socket, wait for 30 seconds, and plug it back in.
Turn on the printer by pressing the power button.
Disconnect the router from the wall outlet, and reconnect it after 30 seconds.
Check if your printer connects to WiFi. The wireless light on the printer may start flashing when it connects to WiFi.
Check the WiFi Network and Password
Note down the password carefully. Even a small mistake can interrupt your connection (e.g., spelling errors, capitalization errors, or missing or adding extra characters).
Confirm that your computer/mobile device and printer are on the same network.
Use a 2.4GHz network if your printer has trouble connecting.
Connect Your Epson Printer to WiFi Properly
Go to the Home screen of your printer, and select Settings.
Select General Settings, and then click on Network Settings.
Choose WiFi Setup, and then select WiFi Recommended.
Then, select WiFi Setup Wizard and choose your wireless network name from the list.
Enter your password correctly and safely, avoiding typos.
Select Start Setup to complete the connection.
