Method 1: Color Settings in the Printer Preferences
. Select the Start menu on your Windows, then open Settings.
. Then go to Devices, then click on the Printers & Scanners option.
. Click on your Epson printer and click the Manage button.
. Next, you need to select the Printer Properties option.
. After that, launch the Maintenance tab and click on the Ink Cartridge settings option.
. Ensure that the “Both black and color” option is selected from the ink cartridge dropdown.
Method 2: Check Incorrect Paper Type or Print Quality Settings
. Go to the control panel on your PC, then click on the View Devices and Printers option.
. After that, you should right-click on your printer and select Printer Preferences.
. Then, check and change any printer settings that might be causing the printer to not print in color.
. Now, check if your printer has started printing the document properly in color.
Method 3: Clean Your Printer Printhead Manually
. For the first step, remove the power cable from your printer.
. Next, you should lift the front cover.
. Now, move the printhead to the right and remove the ink cartridge individually.
. After that, take out the printhead plate by pushing up the top cover with a tool. (Note- Don’t touch the tape attached to the chip behind the plate.)
. Then, you are required to remove all the screws.
. Furthermore, grab the print head and remove it.
. Now, clean the print head with a wet tissue or a damp cloth.
. After that, run the print head cleaning from the control panel.
