Whenever you try to print from your HP ENVY 6555e printer, it shows nothing. All you get is a blank sheet. That’s not a new problem; it is one of the most searched printer problems online. It can be easily resolved in just a few minutes. You can try the following troubleshooting methods and get the issue fixed on your own:
Deactivate the Offline Mode
Windows
Open Settings, then go to Bluetooth & devices.
Select “Printers & scanners.”
Click on your HP ENVY 6555e.
Click Open print queue. If any jobs are listed, right-click each one and select Cancel.
Back in the printer settings, click Printer in the menu bar and untick “Use Printer Offline.”
Try printing again. The status should change to “Ready.”
macOS
Open System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
Select your HP ENVY 6555e and click Open Print Queue.
Cancel any stuck jobs. Then click Resume if the queue is paused.
If the printer still appears offline, remove it from the list and re-add it using the + button.
Clear Print Queue
Press Windows + R keys together to open the “Run” dialog box.
Type services.msc, and Enter.
Find and right-click Print Spooler.
Select “Stop.”
Open File Explorer and go to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS.
Delete all files in that folder, but don’t delete the folder itself.
Come back to Services, right-click Print Spooler, and select “Start.”
Try printing again.
Update Drivers
Go to the Microsoft Store, Mac App Store, or hp.com/hpsmart.
Download HP Smart from there, then launch it.
Add your printer if it is not already listed. HP Smart will detect it on your network.
If you see any firmware or driver updates, HP Smart will prompt you to install them.
