How to connect the HP Smart Tank 5000 printer to WiFi - that might be the question on your mind. Here is what you need to do: 

• First, go to your printer’s control panel, and press and hold the information (i) button. 

• You’ll see all buttons light up, and then you need to release the information button. 

• Once that is done, press and hold the Cancel button for 3 seconds, then release it.  

• The lights on the control panel will turn off. 

• If you see the WiFi and power buttons flashing, it indicates that your printer is in setup mode. 

• Now, get your smartphone, and open the Play Store or App Store

• Search for “HP Smart” and download the application. 

• Install the app, and tap Open to launch it. 

• Once you open the app, on the Home screen, tap the “+” at the top right corner of your phone’s screen. 

• Next, tap on the “Add Printer” button, and then choose your printer series. 

• In the “Connect the printer to WiFi” window, enter your WiFi password and tap on “Continue.” 

• If prompted, press the information button on your printer’s control panel.
