Are you facing the error code 1300 problem in your Canon printer? This error code appears due to paper jamming or a problem with your cartridge. Below are the two quick solutions you can follow to quickly remove the issue and get the device working perfectly once again. So, let’s begin.
First you need to pull out the paper from the output and rear tray.
If you are unable to pull the paper out, turn off the machine.
Then, make sure to turn on your machine then try to pull the paper again.
When your printer is on, remove its power cord.
Now, you should take out the rear paper tray out of the printer.
In addition, remove the paper cover. (You need to also pull out the transport unit cover.)
Afterward, look for jammed paper and remove it if you find any.
Attach the transparent unit cover back to the unit cover.
Then, you are required to close the unit cover.
Now, you should attach the power cord back to your printer device.
Finally, turn on the printer and check if your printer is still showing the error code 1300.
Method 2: Check the Cartridge Area
Make sure to turn on your Canon printer first.
To move forward remove the power cord from your printer device.
Then, you should open the cover of your printer.
Next, carefully move the FINE cartridge to the right.
Take out the jammed papers slowly without touching other parts of the printer.
Also, inspect and remove any remaining pieces of paper from inside the printer.
If you find any jammed papers then slowly remove it.
