You are all set to print your project on the printer by sending it from your Cricut app, but you find that the printer is not connected. While creating the Print Then Cut DIY project, your printer needs to be connected to the Cricut app. This process allows you to print the design on the printer and then cut it using the Cricut cutting machine.
If you need help connecting your printer to the Cricut Design Space app on a PC, then follow the given instructions. (Note- Before connecting the printer, make sure that it is compatible for the Print Then Cut process.)
Initially, ensure that the computer (Cricut app installed) and printer are placed close to each other.
On your PC, choose the Settings option from the Start menu.
From the left panel, select Bluetooth & Devices and then click on Printers & Scanners.
Choose the Add Device button; it will allow your PC to start looking for the printer devices within its range.
If your device is unable to search for the printer, then choose the Add Manually option.
After that, choose “Add a printer using an IP address or hostname,” and click Next.
Select Autodetect for device type, type the printer’s hostname or IP address, and then choose the Next option.
Once your printer is successfully connected, choose Next and complete the process by following the steps displayed on the screen.
Choose the Finish option when the process is complete.
Now, go to your Cricut app and get your Print Then Cut design ready.
Select the Make It and then “Send to Printer” option for project printing.
When the Cricut app shows the right printer name and clicks on the Print option.
