Is your Epson printer not printing or printing blank sheets? If yes, you might be dealing with more than two problems at the same time. Your printer is not printing or showing “printing” status, but nothing comes out due to a software issue. On the other hand, a printer leaving blank paper happens due to an ink delivery problem in the print head.
To fix this issue, you need to run a nozzle check and read it using these steps:
First, load a plain A4 or letter sheet. Go to Setup > Maintenance > Print head nozzle check.
The printer will print a horizontal line in each ink color.
Solid lines show that the printhead is fine, and the main culprit is something else.
Faded sections, gaps, or even missing colors show that ink isn’t reaching the nozzle array, causing blank prints.
If you find out that the problem is in the print head, you can clean it using the built-in head cleaning cycle from the maintenance menu. Ensure you don’t power off the cleaning mid-cycle and stop after three consecutive cycles with no improvement.
If the cause is software-related, you might have used the wrong media type, or there is a corrupted print
queue. In this situation, you need to ensure that you select the correct media type and restart the print spooler
